The hybrid three-phase system WESTA 50B230 with a capacity of 50 kW is a key component for the efficient and uninterrupted use of electricity in commercial and industrial facilities.
The WESTA 50B230 is a ready-made solution for commercial facilities, equipped with a hybrid three-phase inverter and expandable battery modules. This system is distinguished by its high cost-efficiency, safety, and reliability. Additionally, it includes intelligent features such as a Virtual Power Plant (VPP), microgrid capabilities, smart scheduling, and customizable smart scenarios.
The WESTA 50B230 was developed in collaboration with the Institute of Transport Systems and Technologies of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine (ITST NAS of Ukraine). The institute's specialists applied their extensive experience in creating integrated power supply systems utilizing solar energy systems, wind turbines, and energy storage units. These systems have been a key area of joint activity between ITST NAS of Ukraine and the WESTA Corporation since 2003, aimed at implementing the concept of distributed energy systems. This concept involves integrating the use of traditional energy sources (thermal and nuclear power plants), renewable energy sources (wind and solar power plants), and electricity storage systems.
These systems have become particularly relevant during wartime, as they ensure uninterrupted power supply to local facilities despite systematic outages in centralized power grids.
Compatibility tests of the WESTA 50B230 system with an experimental 6 kW wind-solar generating unit developed by ITST NAS of Ukraine confirmed the standard integration capabilities of wind-solar power generators with the hybrid three-phase WESTA 50B230 system.

1. Hybrid Mode
Solar energy is the primary source for powering devices and equipment. If solar energy is insufficient to meet the demands of all connected loads, the battery provides supplementary power. The grid supplies power only when the battery charge falls below a preset level.
2. Uninterruptible Mode
The grid is the primary energy source. Solar energy and battery power are used to supply loads only when the grid is unavailable.
3. Stand-alone Mode
Solar energy is the primary source of power for all devices. If solar power is insufficient, the battery supplies additional energy alongside solar power. The grid is used only when the battery voltage drops to a low charge level.
