Quality Control and Management

During the formation process, an automated quality control system is employed, which detects, identifies, and rectifies technological deviations that affect battery quality. In addition to the control systems patented by the corporation, an international quality control system ISO 9001:2015/ISO 19011:2018 has also been implemented.

At the end of the formation process, all batteries undergo a 100% quality control test on the high-current discharge setup with additional patented criteria. The control system detects minimal deviations in battery construction or defects that may have occurred in previous stages of production.

After undergoing such rigorous selection, the probability of deviations in battery operation practically equals zero.

Quality Control of Raw Materials and Materials

The central chemical laboratory of the factory conducts quality control of raw materials, materials, and products of technological divisions. The laboratory consists of two halls: one for conducting chemical analysis and the other for physical (spectral) analysis.

The hall for physical (spectral) analysis is equipped with the following equipment:

  • ARL 3460 spark vacuum spectrometer (Switzerland), designed for express analysis of lead and lead alloys with certified methodology for 14 elements
  • IRIS Intrepid II XSP DUO inductively coupled plasma spectrometer (USA) with certified methodology for 18 elements, used for quality control of technological water, acids, electrolytes, metal alloys, etc.

All auxiliary equipment for analysis (vacuum and drying ovens, centrifuge, muffle furnace, balances, titration setups, etc.) is manufactured by well-known companies from the USA, Germany, and Switzerland, ensuring high accuracy of analyses. Such laboratory equipment allows meeting all the requirements for controlling the entire production process.

Quality Control Laboratory of Finished Products

The Electrical Testing Laboratory (ETL) conducts quality control of finished products and performs all types of electrical, mechanical, and climatic tests on battery packs, as required by both Ukrainian regulatory documents and international standards.

The laboratory is equipped with all necessary and state-of-the-art German equipment, including:

  • Charge-discharge and powerful discharge devices from "Digatron," controlled by the specialized BTS-600 computer program, allowing for automatic execution of test programs, as well as recording and analysis of testing results over short time intervals
  • Climatic chambers and baths of domestic production, enabling testing temperatures ranging from -50 to +100 °C
  • A complex of equipment for mechanical testing (vibration electrodynamic test bench and tensile testing machines)

The ETL staff consists of experienced professionals with over 20 years of experience in testing chemical power sources.
